What we have tested, what we know is not yet right, and how to get help
Last updated: 2 September 2026
Our commitment
Business Growth Coaching wants every business owner and manager to be able to read our guidance, complete an assessment, buy a toolkit and download what they have paid for. We treat an accessibility barrier as a fault in our website, not as a problem with how you choose to browse.
What we have tested
We tested the journeys that matter most to customers: the home page, the two hubs, the Toolkit Store and an individual toolkit page, sign in and registration, licence selection and checkout, the refunds, privacy and cookie pages, the assessment start, and the signed-in My BGC area including the Downloads page.
On those pages we checked, and corrected where necessary, that:
- every page can be operated with the keyboard alone, in a sensible order, with no keyboard trap
- the item you are on always shows a clearly visible focus outline
- a “Skip to main content” link is the first thing the keyboard reaches
- each page has one main region, one main heading and headings in a logical order
- buttons, links, form fields, licence choices and the agreement control all carry a name that assistive software can announce
- text can be enlarged to twice its normal size on a narrow screen without content being lost or requiring sideways scrolling
- colour is never the only way we signal an error, a state or a result
- images that carry meaning have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from assistive software
We also ran an automated accessibility check for WCAG 2.1 level A and AA issues across those pages. It reported no failures at the time of the last test.
Known limitations
We have not yet carried out testing with disabled people using their own assistive technology, so we do not claim full conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA. Automated checks and keyboard, focus, zoom, heading and naming checks cannot find every barrier.
- Payment is completed on a secure page provided by our payment provider, and discovery calls are booked on a third-party scheduling page. We do not control the accessibility of those pages.
- Toolkit packages are supplied as documents, spreadsheets and templates. Their accessibility varies by document and they have not each been individually tested with a screen reader.
- Longer tables in our legal pages and some data tables scroll sideways inside their own box on very narrow screens.
- Some older article and masterclass material has not yet been re-checked to the standard above.
If something is not accessible to you
Please tell us. Email support@businessgrowthcoaching.co.uk and describe the page and what stopped you. We will reply within five working days and, if you cannot complete a purchase or reach a toolkit you are entitled to, we will help you directly and supply the material in another way.
Keeping this honest
We re-test these journeys whenever we change sign in, licence selection, checkout or downloads, and we will update this page, including its limitations, as that work is done.
